Richard Long Stones for Molissa Fenley

You’re invited for a special viewing at TOPAZ ARTS this Saturday, September 28, 2013, 12-4pm

View the stone arrangement for a Richard Long sculpture before it heads to the stage
for Molissa Fenley’s performances at New York Live Arts!

The stones will be on display at TOPAZ ARTS this Saturday, Sept. 28th from 12-4pm,
or by appointment through Sunday, Sept. 29th at rsvp@topazarts.org

As part of the dance residency program, TOPAZ ARTS assists artists in realizing their projects. From stoneyard to the stage, we are assisting Molissa in recreating her 1989 work The Floor Dances, a solo performed by Fenley with sculpture by Richard Long, and music by Henryk Gorecki, as part of  her season at New York Live Arts. Performances take place at NYLA from October 2 to 5, 2013 – please see full details here >
