Territory: Unlimited – featuring contemporary works by the Society of Philippine-American Artists (SPAA). Partnering with TOPAZ ARTS in bringing artwork by SPAA members to Woodside, Queens, the Society is reaching beyond the Philippine Center in Manhattan, its perennial option for its annual exhibition. Territory: Unlimited focuses on contemporary art, from representational to abstract works, while artists explore art and living
against the backdrop of their inherited mixed culture as citizens of the world.

About SPAA:
Since its founding in 1995 by Manuel Rodriguez Sr, President Emeritus and the Father of Philippine Modern Printmaking, the Society of Philippine-American Artists (SPAA) has been a strong advocate for Filipino artists in America, mainly in the Northeast, through the years of its growth and development. In addition to its founder, SPAA has been led by artist members: Jose A Dureza, Lenore RS Lim, Athena Magcase-Lopez, Angelito L David and current President, Carlos L Esguerra. SPAA artist members have been active with solo and group exhibitions in North America, Asia and Europe, proudly garnering awards through their mastery of their medium, permeating the Philippine, American and International art scenes. Ever-expanding their horizons as a group, past exhibitions include “Woman” with the American Society of Contemporary Artists (ASCA) and through an experimental exhibition project, “Displacement and Homing.” SPAA also partnered with Ayala Museum in the Philippines with the New York to Manila Exhibit. The publication of Books 1 and 2 Selected Works and an 18th Annual Exhibit catalogue continue SPAA’s thrust towards professional growth and artistic excellence.
